Video: Why a Competency-Based Program

A competency-based program allows for the most efficient and thorough learning environment for master’s candidates. Rather than determining readiness by seat time in a set number of classes, the WW Academy lets candidates prove what they know and can do, and work through the projects or challenges based on what they know, learn, and want to master.

In this video, WW Academy Provost Peter Laipson talks about some of the reasons the WW Academy chose a competency-based master’s program.
