Learning Design Coaches: Teacher Candidates are “Ready to Go”

In this video, Learning Design Coach (LDC) David Wilson speaks to how the culture of the WW Academy carries over to the classrooms where teacher candidates are placed. “They came here every week ready to go, trying to get involved as much as possible.”

Each teacher candidate at the WW Academy is paired with an experienced educator—the LDCs—in one of the partner school districts or out-of-school-time learning spaces. This clinical placement gives candidates carefully supervised but very real opportunities to practice what they are learning during their program work.
