Selection Process

Selection Day is an integral part in the application process and an application cannot move forward unless a candidate attends. Selection Day offers candidates a chance to see first-hand what an Academy education is really like and also provides us an opportunity to get to know each candidate. You’ll participate in a variety of activities along with other potential teacher candidates and have a chance to meet and speak with current teacher candidates, faculty and staff.

One selection day is held following each application deadline and candidates will receive an email invitation to attend. Candidates are invited on a rolling basis and may be invited to any selection day throughout the year and not necessarily to the one that corresponds with the date that you applied.

For the 2019 application cycle, selection days will be held on November 9, 2018, December 14, 2018, and February 15, 2019.
